New Hope Fire Department Muster Team does it Again: 

The 2008 New Hope Fire Department Muster Team competed in the Gaston County Firefighters Association Firefighter’s Muster on Saturday June 14, 2008.  With a blistering overall time of 00:4:32 New Hope clinched an unprecedented fifth championship.  Second place was awarded to Agricultural Center Fire Department with an overall time of 00:05:05 and Third place was awarded to Gastonia Fire Department with an overall time of 00:05:29.  In addition to the muster portion of the event we also took first place in the water keg and Rescue 50 came in second place in the truck show. A big thanks and congratulations are warranted to this team for bringing the “big trophy” back to its rightful home. Congratulations guys!
